We will be looking at images from the previous month's competition on a laptop and discussing what makes them a good image and/or how they can be improved. We will meet at a coffee shop either a morning or evening beginning in January. If interested contact Jeanne.

Critique photos in a casual, group setting. Share ideas for photo submissions to contests and publications. Meets every other month, beginning January 26, 2012, (always the fourth Thursday of the month) at 7pm. Location to be announced, but we will meet in the Grand Rapids area. Monochrome Discussion Group led by Mike Mitchell
This group should be a help to you if you are planning on competing in the new monochrome category that starts with the January competition.
We will discuss many aspects of monochromatic photography. We will bring some of our own images to share and discus with the group and talk about some of the techniques we use to create them.
I would like to get this group started the second week in January and meet in the Cafe at Schuler Books on Alpine Ave, it will meet once a month as long as there is interest in the topic. If interested contact Mike Mitchell.
